Park Projects

We work with communities to transform Toronto green spaces.

Toronto’s nearly 1600 parks are our public green spaces and are central to community life in neighbourhoods across the city. They provide essential public space for children to explore and play, a venue for sports and cultural activities, and quiet places to escape and enjoy nature in the city.

At Toronto Parks and Trees Foundation, we’re committed to helping community groups plan and fundraise for local park improvement projects all across Toronto. We work with communities in our mission to foster collaboration city-wide and to facilitate, fund, and support green space enhancement projects that improve the quality of life for all people in Toronto. In collaboration with the City of Toronto, we help neighbourhoods and community groups get the additional support needed to fulfil local park improvement projects. Working directly with communities means we can make the kinds of improvements that are important to local residents.

Notice to our park and tree enthusiasts!  It is with sad hearts that we announce that the Toronto Parks and Trees Foundation is shutting its doors, and will no longer be able to accept donations on behalf of park improvements across our great city.  We are very proud of the work we have done together over the years, in partnership with a wide variety of community groups.

We hope you will continue to support parks and green spaces , with our city’s host of outstanding environmental charitable partners.

All the best,

Toronto Parks and Trees Foundation
